Notifications and Bulletins Archive
The following notifications and bulletins were provided to inform FIA data users as to major changes/shifts in our data, including method and nature of data collection, and our tools that will have impacts to how the data is viewed over time.
SAMPLING & ESTIMATION:
- (April 2022) Updates to tree volume, biomass, and carbon models will impact data on FIA DataMart. These changes should be in effect and reflected in data late July-early August 2022. More information on this change here. (PDF 280KB)
TOOLS:
- (April 2022) We are actively working with the CIO on testing and release of an EVALIDator 2.0 application, which will be very similar to the current application. More information is available here. (PDF 113KB)
